The choice comes down to volume and to what goes in the glass. With hot drinks, always put a spoon in the glass first or pour in two goes, so the heat spreads more gradually. Tempered glass is heat-treated, which makes it more resistant to hot liquid and to the trip from dishwasher to fridge. Every model is dishwasher safe. With the bottles it pays to stand them upside down in the rack, because otherwise water is left sitting in the base. An ordinary sponge does not reach through the narrow neck of the large bottle; for that you need a brush.
