This chrome-plated steel receipt spike keeps completed receipts and order slips together. The heavy base stays put when you push a receipt onto it with one hand, so loose papers in the kitchen and behind the bar stay organized.
Where to place it
In the kitchen, the spike usually sits by the pass; behind the bar, you use it for receipts that have not yet been settled. Because the pin is sharp and the base is heavy, you can spike a receipt with one hand without the whole thing tipping over. Place it in a fixed spot next to the rest of your bar accessories.
Maintenance and safety
Chrome-plated steel stays looking good as long as you keep it dry: wipe the base after service and rub it dry instead of putting it in the dishwasher. Watch out for the sharp pin and remove the stack of receipts regularly, as a full spike becomes less stable. The spike is part of Bar Professional hospitality equipment. Tip: do not place it at eye level or on a walkway.
