Rémy Martin Tercet
The cognac that doesn’t behave like cognac: bold, fresh, and distinctly fruity, at 42% ABV. Made by three experts working together, it’s just as good in a Sidecar or French 75 as it is neat or on the rocks.

Three experts, one blend
Tercet refers to a group of three. This cognac was created through a collaboration between Rémy Martin’s master distiller, winemaker, and cellar master, each bringing their own expertise to the blend, guided by Baptiste Loiseau’s original vision. The result is a Cognac Fine Champagne that’s fresh, bold, and distinctly fruity, with a surprisingly long finish.
Two things set it apart from the rest of the house. It’s bottled at 42% instead of 40%, and, according to the brand, made with a special yeast. While the 1738 and XO are all about maturity and oak, Tercet is all about fresh fruit and spices. That makes it the Rémy Martin cognac best suited to ice and citrus.
At a glance
Fresh fruit with a spicy edge
Fresh fruit
A distinctly fruity nose, fresher than you’d expect from cognac, with a light touch of spice.
Lively and smooth
Bold and fresh, with juicy fruit and spices. The 42% ABV gives it strength, but the texture remains smooth.
Surprisingly long
A long finish in which fruit and spice take turns. That length is what makes it work so well in cocktails.
Rémy Martin Tercet's flavor profile, neat. Over ice, it becomes fresher and the fruit comes through even more.
Three ways to serve Tercet
Tercet is the cognac for those who want to mix cognac. Ice, citrus and bubbles aren't a waste here; they're exactly the point.
On the rocks
50 ml Tercet over a large ice cube in a tumbler, with a thin strip of lemon zest. The chill makes the fruit even fresher and tempers the 42%.
Tumblers →Sidecar
50 ml Tercet, 25 ml Cointreau and 25 ml lemon juice, shaken hard with ice and strained into a chilled coupe. Tercet's fruit makes it livelier than a VSOP.
View recipe →Cognac highball
40 ml Tercet in a highball glass full of ice, topped with 120 ml chilled soda water or ginger ale. Stir once and add an orange wedge.
Highball glasses →Refreshing cognac cocktails with Tercet
Shaken, sparkling citrus cocktails where Tercet's fruitiness does the work.

Sidecar
Cognac, Cointreau and lemon with a sugar rim. Fresher and fruitier with Tercet.
French 75 with cognac
Cognac, lemon and sugar, topped with champagne. Tercet gives it extra fruitiness.
Champagne Cocktail
A sugar cube with bitters, a splash of cognac and chilled champagne. Simple and festive.
Cognac Julep
Mint, sugar and crushed ice, with Tercet instead of bourbon. Cold, fresh and fruity.More Rémy Martin flavors
