Disaronno Velvet
Disaronno in a white, velvety form: a cream liqueur with notes of milk and almond, at 17%. Chilled over ice, in cold coffee or as a creamy layer in an Espresso Martini.
Disaronno, but creamy
Disaronno Velvet is a cream liqueur from Illva Saronno, the company behind Disaronno Originale. The familiar amaretto flavor is combined with cream and milk to create a white, velvety liqueur. While the Originale is sweet and slightly bitter, Velvet is above all smooth and creamy, with almond in the background.
At 17% alcohol, it’s much lighter than the Originale at 28%. Because it contains milk, it’s not a liqueur to leave open in the cupboard for years: once opened, it should be refrigerated. Handy, since it tastes best chilled, too.

How to drink Disaronno Velvet
Disaronno recommends drinking Velvet chilled, preferably with ice cubes. There’s no need to drink it warm.
Chilled over ice
Pour 50 ml Velvet straight from the fridge over a few ice cubes in a tumbler. The simplest and perhaps most delicious way to enjoy it.

Pour 40 ml Velvet into a highball glass over ice and top up with 150 ml cold coffee or cold brew. Stir and serve: iced coffee with almond.

Shake 30 ml vodka, 30 ml Velvet and 30 ml fresh espresso hard with ice, then strain into a chilled coupe. Creamier and smoother than the original.
