With Bar Professional Speakeasy Applewood Smoking Chips, you can smoke an Old Fashioned, Negroni, or whisky serve in just a few seconds. Applewood is the mildest of all smoke flavors: fruity and slightly sweet, complementing your drink instead of overpowering it. That makes it the logical choice if you are just starting out with smoking or want to finish a light gin or rum cocktail.
How to use them
Place half a teaspoon of chips in the chamber of your cocktail smoker or on a fireproof dish, light them until they glow, and capture the smoke under a glass or cloche. After twenty to thirty seconds, stir briefly and pour. A small amount is enough, so one package lasts a long time. The chips are untreated and finely shaved, allowing them to ignite quickly and burn evenly.
