Chivas Regal 25 Years
The oldest and most luxurious Chivas. A modern version of the blend with which Chivas Regal conquered New York in 1909: creamy and deep, with chocolate, fruit and nuts. A whisky for special moments.

The blend it all started with in 1909
The very first Chivas Regal was a 25-year-old blend, created in 1909 for the American market. It conquered New York, but the two world wars and Prohibition brought it to an end. The 25 Years was reintroduced much later, as a modern version of that first luxury blend.
Every whisky in this bottle has spent at least 25 years in cask. That gives it a depth and smoothness that younger Chivas Regals don't have: chocolate, cream and fruit, with orange, peach and nuts. The alcohol content is 40%, as with all Chivas Regals. This isn't a whisky for the cocktail shaker, but for a quiet moment and a good glass.
In brief
Creamy, deep and luxurious
Orange and peach
Ripe fruit with orange and peach, and a nutty depth that only emerges after a few minutes in the glass.
Chocolate and cream
Smooth and creamy, with chocolate and fruit. The years in cask have taken away all the sharp edges.
Smooth and gentle
A long, luxurious finish with notes of nuts and a warm sweetness.

How to taste a 25-year-old whisky
With a whisky of this age, it's all about taking your time. Here are a few tips to get the most out of it.
Let it breathe
Pour 25 to 30 ml into a tasting glass and let it rest for five minutes. Old whiskies need time to open up; only then do the fruit and nuts really come through.
Tasting glasses →A drop of water
Taste it neat first. Then add one or two drops of cool water and taste again. This often makes the creaminess even more pronounced.
Glass: tasting glass →After dinner
Serve it after dinner alongside dark chocolate, nuts, or a piece of aged cheese. No ice: it masks the aromas you're paying for.
Cognac glasses →Making cocktails? Go for the 12
The 25 Years is best enjoyed neat. If you want the same flavors in a cocktail, the 12 Years or XV makes a wonderful drink for a fraction of the bottle's price. These classics suit Chivas's character.

Manhattan
Whisky, red vermouth, and bitters. Elegant and bold, just like the 25 Years.
Rusty Nail
Scotch with Drambuie over ice. An after-dinner cocktail.
Godfather
Scotch and amaretto over ice, sweet and nutty.
