Duralex Picardie Water Set 12-Piece (25 & 50 Cl)
This Duralex Picardie water glass set consists of six 25 cl tumblers and six 50 cl highball glasses. Two sizes that together can handle everything you drink in a day, made from the tempered French glass Picardie is known for.
What’s in the set
The 25 cl tumbler is the size for water with a meal, a glass of milk, or juice. The 50 cl highball glass is the large size that holds half a litre, ideal for iced tea, a beer, or simply water with plenty of ice on a hot day. Both sizes stack inside one another.
Why tempered glass
Picardie is made from tempered glass, which is three times stronger than ordinary glass and can withstand large temperature differences. So you can pour in cold water straight from the freezer without the glass cracking. More sizes and the coloured versions can be found in the Duralex Picardie collection.

Refund to your account
If you choose a refund to your account, the return costs are equal to the shipping costs for your country: €6.95 in the Netherlands, €8.95 in Belgium and Germany, and €9.99 in Spain, France and Luxembourg.

We pack our glasses with the utmost care. Every order is securely packaged with extra protective material so that it arrives safely.
We also place clear warning stickers on the shipping box so the delivery service knows that the box contains fragile glasses and handles it with care.
If a glass still arrives damaged, report it in your account within three business days with a photo. You will receive a replacement glass or store credit, and you do not need to return the broken glass.

Duralex
Duralex maakt sinds 1945 gehard glas in Frankrijk, in een fabriek even buiten Orléans. Het merk zegt zelf dat het het hardingsproces voor glas in dat jaar uitvond, en daar gaat het nog steeds om: door de harding kan het glas beter tegen stoten en tegen plotselinge temperatuurwisselingen dan gewoon glas. De Picardie, met die ribbel halverwege, is het bekendste model.
In de praktijk is dit het glas dat je pakt als er veel doorheen gaat, van een schoolkantine tot een terras of een keuken met kinderen. De Picardie loopt van 9 tot 50 cl, en daarnaast staan de Gigogne, de stapelbare Versailles en Empilable, de gefacetteerde Prisme en de rechte Manhattan, in helder glas en in kleuren als marine en roze.
