Martini Riserva Speciale Rubino
The red vermouth for anyone who takes a Negroni or Manhattan seriously. Richer, fuller and bolder than Rosso: woody, herbal and deep ruby red.

The red vermouth in the Riserva Speciale range
Rubino is the red vermouth in Martini's Riserva Speciale range, a Vermouth di Torino made in Pessione. Martini calls it a modern creation of an authentic vermouth: rich, versatile and full-bodied, built on the house's more than 150 years of experience. Its base is wine from the Langhe, flavored with Italian herbs.
The biggest difference from Martini Rosso lies in the strength and depth. Rubino has 18% alcohol compared with 15% for Rosso, and tastes woodier and more herbal. This helps it stand up better alongside gin or whiskey in a cocktail, so you can really taste the vermouth in a Negroni instead of just the sweetness.
At a glance
Woody, herbal and ruby red
Wood and herbs
A deep aroma of wood and herbs, with the wine underneath. Fuller and more serious than Rosso.
Rich and full
Round and full on the palate, with herbs that keep unfolding. Sweet, but not overwhelmingly so.
Long and bitter
A long, slightly bitter finish of herbs and wood that lingers. Exactly what gives a Negroni its backbone.
Rubino’s flavor profile neat and chilled. Its spiciness stands out most in a Negroni.
Rubino at the bar and at the table
Rubino is made for mixing, but it’s full-bodied enough to enjoy neat, too. Refrigerate after opening.
Negroni
30 ml gin, 30 ml Martini Rubino, and 30 ml Martini Bitter, stirred with ice and poured into a tumbler over a large ice cube, with an orange peel. A Negroni made entirely with Martini.

60 ml Rubino over a large ice cube in a tumbler, with a strip of orange peel. The best way to taste its woody, spicy character.
Tumblers →Manhattan
50 ml rye or bourbon, 25 ml Rubino, and two dashes of Angostura, stirred with ice and strained into a chilled coupe with a cocktail cherry. Rubino’s extra strength makes it richer.
Go to the recipe →Cocktails that call for a full-bodied vermouth
In stirred cocktails with spirits, the vermouth makes all the difference. Rubino adds spice and a long finish.

Negroni
Gin, sweet vermouth, and bitter liqueur in equal parts. Rubino makes it deeper and spicier.
Boulevardier
A Negroni with bourbon instead of gin. Rubino holds its own alongside the whiskey.
Manhattan
Whiskey, sweet vermouth, and bitters. A full-bodied vermouth like Rubino makes it smooth and lingering.
Hanky Panky
Gin, sweet vermouth, and a few drops of Fernet. Bitter, spicy, and old-fashioned in the best way.More Martini flavors
