Don Julio Blanco
Don Julio’s bright, unaged tequila: citrus, cooked agave, and a touch of black pepper. This is the bottle for a Paloma or Margarita that tastes of real agave, but it’s smooth enough to drink neat over ice.

Tequila straight from the still
Don Julio Blanco is the house’s purest bottle: tequila that hasn’t rested in wood after distillation. The agaves are blue Weber agaves from the highlands of Jalisco, hand-harvested when fully ripe, and the tequila is distilled in copper stills. With no barrel in between, you taste the agave itself: fresh, lightly sweet, and a little green.
That’s what sets Blanco apart from its older siblings. Reposado and Añejo pick up notes of vanilla and caramel from the oak; Blanco remains bright and citrusy, with a peppery edge. That’s exactly why it’s the best choice for cocktails where lime and grapefruit take center stage. Julio González founded his distillery in 1942; this tequila shows most clearly what it’s all about.
