Malibu Strawberry
Malibu in pink. Coconut rum from Barbados with the taste of sweet, fresh strawberries, at 21% ABV. Neat over ice or in a mixed drink: think of an effortless strawberry daiquiri, or simply lemonade with plenty of ice.

Malibu, now with strawberries
Malibu Strawberry is one of the newer flavors in the Malibu family: the same coconut rum as the original, with strawberry added. The base is white Caribbean rum made from sugarcane, with coconut, and natural flavorings that give it the taste of sweet, fresh strawberries. Like the original, it comes from Barbados, where Malibu has been made since 1982.
At 21% ABV, it’s just as strong as regular Malibu Coconut. The coconut is still recognizable, but strawberry takes center stage. It’s easy to drink neat over ice or in a mixed drink. While classic Malibu mostly calls for pineapple juice, Strawberry pairs better with lemonade, sparkling water, lime and mint: anything that keeps the strawberry fresh.
In brief
Sweet, red and summery
Fresh strawberry
Strawberry hits right away, sweet and ripe, like a bowl of strawberries in the sun.
Sweet and smooth
Sweet strawberry on Malibu’s smooth coconut rum. You can barely taste the 21% alcohol, especially over ice.
Short and fruity
A short, sweet finish where the strawberry lingers for a moment. Calls for something fresh and sour alongside it.
Flavor profile of Malibu Strawberry straight over ice. Lime or sparkling water makes it fresher and less sweet.
Three ways to drink Malibu Strawberry
Strawberry is sweet enough to drink straight over ice, but add something sour or sparkling and it becomes a true summer drink.
With lemonade
Pour 50 ml Malibu Strawberry and 150 ml lemonade or bitter lemon into a highball glass full of ice, with half a strawberry on the rim. Sweet, sour, and sparkling.
Highball glasses →Quick Strawberry Daiquiri
Blend 50 ml Malibu Strawberry, 20 ml lime juice, and a handful of fresh strawberries with ice. Pour into a chilled coupe. No syrup needed.
Go to the recipe →Straight over ice
Pour 40 ml straight from the fridge over plenty of ice in a tumbler, with a lime wedge. The ice and lime balance the sweetness.
Tumblers →Cocktails with Malibu Strawberry
Wherever a recipe calls for strawberries and white rum, Strawberry makes it easier. Keep the sweetness in check with lime.

Strawberry Daiquiri
Rum, strawberries, and lime blended with ice. Even fruitier with Malibu Strawberry.
Strawberry Mojito
Mint, lime, sparkling water, and rum, with a few muddled strawberries. Malibu Strawberry replaces the rum.
Strawberry Colada
A Piña Colada with a splash of Malibu Strawberry. Pink, creamy, and tropical.
