The 21 cl is the small tumbler: meant for whisky neat or with a single ice block, and for a short drink where you do not want to pour half a glass. The 33.5 cl is the same shape in a roomier version, with space for a large ice block plus a strip of orange peel. The 35 cl long drink glass is narrower and taller and therefore holds on to carbonation better. If you end up choosing only one size, the 33.5 cl is by far the most versatile. In a tumbler, use one large ice block instead of four small ones: less surface means slower melting and so less dilution. Finish by twisting a strip of peel over the glass, so the oil lands on the surface.

The glass is tempered, which means it takes the thermal shock of a hot dishwasher followed by a cold ice block. The thick, worked base is the strongest part of the glass and the rim stays the most vulnerable. So do not stack these tumblers inside one another, even if it looks as though they fit. A rack with fixed compartments keeps the glasses from knocking together during the cycle.
