The Hawthorn cocktail strainer from Bar Professional’s Speakeasy line is the strainer that lets you pour a shaken cocktail into the glass cleanly. The coiled spring along the edge catches ice shards, mint leaves, and pulp while allowing the liquid to flow through freely. Place it on your shaker or mixing glass, hold it in place with your index finger, and pour in one smooth motion. The polished stainless steel visually complements the rest of your bar setup and gives your station a neat, professional appearance.
Stays where you put it
The ridges and raised shaking rim keep the strainer from slipping while pouring, even when you are working quickly drink after drink. Its dimensions are designed to fit most shakers and mixing glasses, so you do not need to replace your existing tools. The material is 304 stainless steel, a grade highly resistant to corrosion from citric acid and salt — exactly what it encounters day after day behind a cocktail bar. This strainer is dishwasher-safe, so it can simply go in with your other tools at the end of the shift.
