The tumblers run from 14 to 35.5 cl and the long drink glasses from 26.5 to 41.5 cl, with intermediate sizes that sit close together. That is not excess but practicality: for water at the table 20 or 23 cl is enough, for soft drinks you land around 26.5 cl, and for beer or a long drink you take 35 or 41.5 cl. The smallest size of 14 cl is for juice at breakfast. Because all sizes share the same shape, they stand side by side on a tray without looking cluttered.

Fill a 41.5 cl long drink glass completely with ice first and only pour afterwards, so the drink is cold straight away instead of melting the ice. That size takes a cuba libre with lime comfortably, and a moscow mule with ginger beer gets plenty of room for crushed ice. For water and soft drinks the tumblers remain the logical choice, and you simply stack those afterwards.

Hospitality glass is thicker at the rim than crystal glass, and that is where the difference lies: the rim is the first thing to get damaged and the first thing you feel against your lip. Summit is made to survive hundreds of wash cycles without going dull. Do not stack too high and never put wet glasses inside one another, because they will suction together and break when you pull them apart.
