The 36 centilitre bowl is the smallest and keeps white wine cool because there is little surface area. The 49 cl is the all-rounder that lets you pour both white and red without switching. The 65 cl gives full-bodied red wine room to open up; fill that one to about a third. Beyond the wine there is a 37 cl tumbler for whisky or a mixed drink over ice, a 39 cl long drink glass for anything with tonic or cola, and a 20 cl flute for bubbles. If you want to lay the whole table with a single size, the 49 cl is the most usable choice.

Fill the 39 cl long drink glass generously with ice first and only then pour, because plenty of ice melts more slowly and dilutes your drink less. That way a Gin & Tonic or a Cuba Libre stays on flavour to the last sip. A large block of ice fits in the 37 cl tumbler, which is pleasant for whisky you drink slowly. Fill the 20 cl flute in two goes so the foam can settle. With the wine bowls, take the widest point as your upper limit.

Revolution is drawn from lead-free crystal glass with titanium, which lets the rim stay thin without the glass breaking quickly. The series is dishwasher safe, and the shorter stem makes loading easier than with tall wine glasses. Place the bowls separately in the rack so they do not touch each other, because knocks during the spin cycle are the most common cause of breakage.
