The hexagonal shape is more than just a brand feature. The thick wall provides insulation, keeping the beer cold longer than a thin-walled glass, while the flat sides provide a secure grip without having to wrap your hand around the glass. The wide opening leaves room for the generous head that is characteristic of wheat beer, as well as for a slice of lemon, which is traditionally served with it in Belgium.
