This glass brush set has three brushes on a plastic base with suction cups. The suction cups hold the base to the bottom of your sink, so the set does not spin when you move a glass over it. For bars where glasses need to be rinsed quickly with one hand.
Work with one hand
A loose brush base slides away as soon as you apply pressure, forcing you to rinse with both hands. With suction cups, the set stays in place and leaves one hand free for the next glass. Press the glass over the middle brush, turn it back and forth a quarter turn, and put it away upside down. This works just as well for beer glasses, tumblers, and cocktail glasses, as long as you keep filling the basin with clean water. Change the water as soon as it becomes cloudy.
Installing and maintaining it
Suction cups only adhere to a smooth, clean surface: first wipe the bottom of the basin dry, then press the base down firmly. The set will not hold as well on a ribbed or damaged bottom; in that case, choose a heavier aluminum base. Replace the brushes when the bristles start to fan out, as they will clean less effectively. Rinse the set after service and let it dry. Find other versions under glass brushes, and rinsed glassware dries fastest upside down in a glass rack.
