The Draft Top is a stainless steel can opener that cuts off the entire lid of a beer can instead of merely opening the tab. What remains is a can with an open top that you can drink or pour from. The cutting mechanism leaves a smooth edge.
What to use it for
You can barely smell anything from a regular can because the opening is too small. Remove the lid, and much more aroma is released, making the can drink like a glass. This makes a difference for canned craft beer. You can also add fruit, ice, or a garnish directly to the can, making canned cocktails possible at events where glass is not allowed. Use and maintenance
Clamp the opener onto the rim of the can and turn it around; the cutting wheels roll the lid loose and fold the edge inward. Work slowly so the edge stays neat. Rinse the opener after use, as beer residue can dry between the wheels and make it difficult to turn. Stainless steel is dishwasher-safe.
