This 15 cl hand-blown glass is shaped like a bird and stands over 25 cm tall. Its capacity is small, but its presentation is striking. Made from lead-free borosilicate glass and intended for one specific drink on your menu.
A glass for one cocktail
Fifteen centiliters is the measure for a shaken cocktail without ice: a sour, a daiquiri, or a martini variation. The 25 cm height makes the glass stand out above the rest on the bar, which works well if you want to highlight one drink. Keep it to that one item, because a statement glass loses its effect as soon as half the menu is served in it. Serve the rest in standard models from the cocktail glasses collection.
Wash and place it carefully
The silhouette is narrow and the glass is top-heavy, so do not place it on a busy part of the bar or on a tray without a rim. Wash it by hand in lukewarm soapy water; the dishwasher is too rough for the thin stem. Let the glass drain upside down on a cloth instead of drying it, so you can avoid reaching into the narrow sections. Use a glass brush for the inside. Store the glasses upright in a compartment, for example in glass crates with high dividers.
